New Prime Minister Decree (DPCM): Restrictions per Zone

Below Italy's three critical areas, and the major restrictive measures established by the November 3rd DPCM that will be in effect from November 6 to December 3, 2020

YELLOW ZONES
Lazio, Molise, Provincia autonoma di Trento, Sardegna, Veneto.

ORANGE ZONES
Basilicata, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Marche, Puglia, Sicilia, Umbria.

RED ZONES
Abruzzo, Calabria, Campania, Lombardia, Piemonte, Provincia autonoma di Bolzano, Toscana, Valle d’Aosta.

YELLOW ZONES

  • No movement is allowed from 10 pm to 5 am the following morning. The exceptions are work, health and survival needs. It is strongly advised not to move except for work, study, health and situations dictated by need.
  • All shopping centers and malls will be closed on weekends and holidays with the exception of the drugstores, over-the-counter drugs and personal hygiene markets, supermarkets, smoke shops and newsstands located inside them.
  • All museums and exhibitions will be closed.
  • Distance learning will be used in all upper schools, students with disabilities are exempted as well as lab time. Attendance will continue in kindergartens, grade and middle schools. Universities are closed with the exception of some activities aimed at the freshmen class and lab time.
  • Public transportation's passengers capacity will be reduced to 50%, with the exception of school buses.
  • Arcades, bingo. slot machine and betting parlors will suspend all activities, even if they are located in coffeeshops or smoke shops.
  • Coffee shops and restaurants will close at 6 pm. Take-away service is allowed till 10 pm. There are no restrictions placed on home deliveries.
  • Pools, gyms, theaters and movie houses remain close. Sports facilities remain open.

ORANGE ZONES

  • No movement is allowed from 10 pm to 5 am the following morning. The exception are work, health and survival needs.
  • Movements between Regions and between municipalities is not allowed with the exception of demonstrable reasons dictated by work, health and survival needs.
    It is advised not to move within one's municipality during the day.
  • Restaurants and coffee shops will be closed at all times. Take away service is allowed till 10 pm. There are no restrictions on home deliveries.

  • Movements are not allowed at any time even within one's municipality, with the exception of demonstrable reasons due to work, health and survival needs. Movements between Regions and between municipalities are not allowed.
  • Restaurants and coffee shops will be closed at all times. Take away service is allowed till 10 pm. There are no restrictions on home deliveries.
  • All shops will be closed with the exception of supermarkets, dry goods and commodity stores.
  • Newspaper stands, smoke shops, pharmacies and over-the-counter drugs and personal hygiene markets, laundries, barbershops and hairdressers will remain open.
  • Beauty centers will be closed.
  • Upper schools and second and third year secondary schools will employ distance learning.
    Only kindergartens, elementary schools and the first year of middle schools will remain open. All universities will be closed, with the exception of certain specific cases.
  • All sport competitions are suspended with the exception of those that are deemed of national importance by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP). All activities in athletic facilities are suspended. Individual physical training such as jogging can be done near one's residence and outdoor individual sports.
  • All museums and exhibitions will be closed as well as theaters, cinemas, gyms, arcades, betting and bingo parlors, no matter where they are located.
    Public transportation's passengers capacity will be reduced to 50%, with the exception of school buses.
